THE TRUTH IS IN THERE!!!

LAST UPDATED JULY 19, 2024 FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION

Based on the what we've been able to scrape together so far, it appears that in the late 1980s, at the height of the action figure craze, there was a covert buzz about an upcoming action figure line called Captain Trademark & His Amazing Pre-$old Warriors.” Spearheaded by amorphous shysters with vague finances and flimsy concepts, they “hired” a team of writers and artists to bring Captain Trademark to life.

With a smoke and mirrors budget, the team that was assembled included many writers and artists that would go on to become industry icons, including Flint Dille and Paul Dini, who have both said that their work on Captain Trademark was some of the most inspired material they have created.

But before the project was finished, the backers of the project suddenly disappeared. Checks bounced. “For Rent” signs were posted at the studio. Phone numbers were no longer in service. No explanation was given. And it was generally believed that Captain Trademark had been totally lost to the sands of time – or based on recently discovered information, more likely to a landfill at an undisclosed location.

Recently, there have been persistent – but previously unconfirmable – rumors that a Captain Trademark action figure line may have actually been finished; leaving collectors salivating at the possibility. As we have chased down leads over the last several years, most roads go back to Mr. Dille and Mr. Dini. We have reached out to them repeatedly, but have not received any replies to date. Anonymous sources have provided us with the content you see on the site, but we hope to get more details directly from Mr. Dini and/or Mr. Dille at some point in the near future.

THE SCOOP: ALL  THE LATEST DIRT WE'VE DUG UP!

To join the search, and check out the most up-to-date info on Captain Trademark, the Amazing Pre-$old Warriors, and Knockov's No-Goods, check out our Facebook Page . Discussions have been heating up and there have actually already been some celebrity sightings and experts popping up to add to the discussion - some of whom claim to HAVE ACTUALLY WORKED ON CAPTAIN TRADEMARK!

IS THIS THE BIG ONE? CAPTAIN TRADEMARK HIMSELF!?????

PLAYDATE 7-19-2024: HOLY MOLY! It appears as if SOMETHING HUGE is happening with Captain Trademark! Noted comic book artist ************ was recently at a convention in Toronto, Canada, one of our agents asked him if he knew anything about Captain Trademark - he said "I think I have some concept art in my files." And, unbelievably, he E-MAILED  THE ART DIRECTLY TO US!

He said that he wasn't allowed to talk about the project further, but he was tired of the art sitting on the metaphorical shelf.

I'm hoping all of this is going to end with some literal Captain Trademarks on shelves and in display cases.

We're starting to get some real detail and articulation here!

INFRINGARR & ONEOV: FOUND FOOTAGE (UPDATE) &
RE-CREATED FIGURES!

UPDATE - PLAYDATE 7-18-2024: The video footage previously posted to this webpage - appearing to depict test footage of Infringarr from a Captain Trademark cartoon pilot episode - has apparently been scrubbed from the internet. But our sources tell us that the rendition of Infringarr in that footage is actually a more-recent recreation by artist ******* - coincidentally, an artist that has been previously attached to other Flint Dille projects. So it appears that the original Infringarr design remains a mystery. However, Mike Redmond of @Mike_Makes_People recently posted this 3D-printed model of what Infringarr could have looked like as an action figure and also his rendition of Oneov (based on the post below). Are Dini and Dille trying to re-animate this long-dead project???

UPDATE - PLAYDATE 4-2-2024: Apologies for the recent unreliability of the website (i.e., downtime, slow load times, etc.). After confirmation of the existence of the Infringarr screentest footage, we experienced a huge surge in web traffic and the servers weren't able to handle it. We think we have remedied the issue and are ready, willing, and able to support would-be Pre-$old Warriors and No-Goods alike. Thank your patience and support!

PLAYDATE 4-1-2024: Recently leaked rare footage - available on YouTube has been pointed out to us by an anonymous alleged project insider and appears to confirm the existence of the character "Infringarr" as a canon character. He is believed to be part of the No-Goods - the sworn enemies of Captain Trademark and His Amazing Pre-$old Warriors. This is one of the most tangible finds to date. Stay tuned for more updates by signing up for our email list!

"ONEOV" RECREATION!

PLAYDATE 3-2-2024: Artist ******* posted this image and then rapidly removed it from his socials. Interestingly, when he posted it, he added the hashtag #CaptainTrademark and #Oneov. Could Oneov be one of the Pre-$old Warriors? Or could he be a Knockov No-Good? Or could this be some high quality fan-fic? We'll try to follow-up with additional information as it comes in.

CAPTAIN TRADEMARK LOGO SPOTTED ON SOCIAL?

THANKS FOR JOINING THE HUNT!

It's been a slow drip of information lately (more like the last four decades or so) but eagle-eyed Social Media Sleuths have found what they think is a potential Captain Trademark Logo on a binder in a Flint Dille photo he posted to Social Media. What do you think? Personally, I'm dubious. But then again, why would someone go out of their way to create something like that if it's not real?
